Architectural Models

Architectural models are reduced scale renditions of buildings used by architects to communicate design and urban planning concepts in 3D.  Models can also be used for reconstructing archeological sites.

3D printing technology is used today to digitally build architectural models traditionally produced out of cardboard by hand.

Voxeljet printers enable the building of architectural models using the most advanced technology in the largest single piece build on the market. Parts of up to 1060 x 600 x 500 mm are possible, built in PMMA plastic  strengthened by epoxy infiltration.

Sand models of buildings are available in sizes of up to 4 x 2 x 1 meters.
